Muriel Mallin Berman, a philanthropist for many Jewish causes, died April 13 in Allentown, Pa., at the age of 89. Along with her husband, Philip, she supported many Jewish causes, including the American Jewish Committee, the Jewish Publication Society, Hadassah and Hebrew University.
