Simultaneously, Rome newspapers published articles urging anti-Semitic legislation, the report said. Signor Cianetti, president of the Italian Labor Confederation is now in Germany being entertained by Julius Streicher, German flagbearer of anti-Semitism, it was stated.
“Do these facts foreshadow the debut of an anti-Semitic movement in politics?” Le Temps asked.
