The special session of the General Assem## of the United Nations which will open on April 28 to deal with the Palestine ##sue will have the right to decide whether a general debate on Palestine should ##ecede the appointment of the fact-finding committee, U.N. Secretary General Trygve ## told a press conference here today.
The General Assembly will be its own master, he said. It may decide to ##dify the provisional agenda set by the Secretariat, and agree on a general debate. the other hand, it may strictly adhere to the provisional agenda and limit itself the appointment of members of the fact-finding committee and give the latter a ##ee hand in regulating the scope and the methode of its work.
There will be no ceremonial opening and it is not anticipated that President human will attend the opening meeting of the session, Mr. Lie declared. The total member of governments which approved the convening of the special session has now ##sen to thirty-five. There was no dissenting voice so far, Mr, Lie reported.
