An all-out campaign to stop discrimination and segregation in housing during the coming year was announced by the New York State Committee on Discrimination in Housing today. Coincident with the publication of a 24-page pamphlet, “Forbidden Neighbors,” designed to arouse public opinion to the evils of discriminatory housing, the State Committee will launch an ambitious legislative and educational program.
Among the organizations cooperating with the State Committee are the American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress, Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, and Jewish Labor Committee.
