Twenty-five thousand dollars, representing collection in New York State for the United Jewish Campaign, was handed by Bernard B. Given, State Chairman, to David A. Brown at the New York State United Jewish Campaign conference here yesterday. The sum represented payment on pledges.
Mr. Brown warned the campaign workers from every part of the state that unless funds pledged in the drive are made available without delay the program of the Joint Distribution Committee in Europe will be jeopardized.
