A grant of $25,000, the second from the New York State Mental Hygiene Department for a Yeshiva University teacher training program in New York City’s battle against Juvenile delinquency, was announced today by Dr. Samuel Belkin, University president
Teachers are trained in the program, which opened last year with the first $25,000 grant to the University’s School of Education, for New York City’s “600” schools. Problem and delinquent children are sent to these schools for special handling.
