An increased exchange of students between Israel and the United States was recommended here yesterday by New York University president Dr Carroll V Newsom at a press conference following his return from an eight-day visit to Israel.
The level of scholarship in the colleges of universities of the two countries were on an equal level Dr. Newsom reported. He discussed various aspects of scientific research now going on in the Jewish State, including studies in the use of solar and nuclear energy He also noted that NYU was conducting several cooperative projects in Israel under the sponsorship of the International Cooperation Administration.
