Malcolm Hecht of Baltimore has had Kentucky’s most distinctive and distinguished honor conferred upon him. He has been commissioned by Gov. Flem D. Sampson of Kentucky as a member of the Governor’s staff with the title of colonel.
Mr. Hecht became a Kentucky colonel while on a visit to relatives in Louisville. He is treasurer of Hecht Brothers department store of Baltimore. Mrs. Hecht formerly was Miss Lucille Levy of Louisville.
