Odd Nansen arrived here today on a mission for the voluntary Nansen Assistance Committee to study the problem of refugees, 150 of whom the committee intends to bring to Norway. Mr. Nansen, the son of Fritjof Nansen, founded the committee in 1937 in anticipation of the liquidation of the Nansen International Office at the end of 1938. The committee seeks to perpetuate the work of the League body in protecting the rights of persons disenfranchised through post-war changes in boundaries and through other reasons.
