“Imperialist forces, whether in Israel, Aden or Portuguese Angola, will not be able to withstand a will to change now sweeping Africa and the Arab lands,” President Nasser of Egypt told a rally last night, according to reports here today from Cairo.

He spoke at a meeting on the eve of the anniversary of the 1952 revolt which ousted King Farouk II. He said the will of the Palestinian Arabs who “lost their homes” in the 1948 war with Israel “would eventually be stronger than Israel and the imperialist forces supporting Israel.”

Syria pledged today in an official announcement to coordinate her armed forces with those of other Arab countries bordering Israel under unified Arab command. The pledge was made by Gen, Amin Hafez, chairman of Syria’s Presidency Council and supreme commander of her armed forces, who said that “joint military coordination would enable us to face Zionism and imperialism.”
