Natan Sharansky joined an Israeli think tank. Sharansky, who recently resigned from his post as Israel’s minister of Diaspora affairs to protest the country’s plan to withdraw from the Gaza Strip, is now a distinguished senior fellow at the Jerusalem-based Shalem Center. Sharansky is expected to write a book defending the nation-state in general and Israel as the Jewish nation-state in particular.
