Natan Sharansky urged Russia to abandon projects aimed at assisting Iran with the development of ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons. Sharansky, a former Soviet dissident, who is currently Israel’s trade and industry minister, held talks with Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin and several other high- ranking Russian officials during a diplomatic mission to Moscow.
