The third anniversary of the death of the noted Jewish philanthropist, Nathan Straus, was conmemorated here last evening at a representative gathering at the Straus Health Center. The Health Center, a gift by Mr. Straus to Palestinian Jewry, was opened in 1928, and was regarded by the late philanthropist as one of the most constructive of his many charities in Palestine. Work on the building began in 1927, and Mr. Straus laid the cornerstone.
