Robert Nathan, author of “One More Spring” and “Road of Ages,” forthcoming Book-of-the-Month Club choice for February, will address 400 members of the lecture group of the women’s division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Charities this morning at eleven o’clock at the Hotel Savoy-Plaza, 7 East Fifty-eighth street.
Mr. Nathan will speak on “American Writing of Today,” ninth lecture in the series of ten the group is holding on “Contemporary Thought.” The last one will be held February 8, when Miss Helen M. Hall will discuss “Where Are We in Social Service?”
Mrs. Harry A. Goldberg, chairman of the lecture group, is assisted by Mrs. Ira Haupt, Mrs. Alfred Hagedorn and Mrs. A. L. Lowenstein.
John Goldenberg, who made a good part of his fortune in Burma, willed most of his money to various London charities.
