The 15th biennial national convention of the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods, a Reform organization, opened here today with delegates from all parts of the United States and Canada in attendance.
The three-day convention will deal with organizational problems, a study of religious practices from the viewpoint of the layman and consideration of religious educational problems. The convention will mark the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Federation and the 60th anniversary of the Jewish Chautauqua Society, the brotherhoods’ educational project.
