The National Council of Jewish Women has opened a home here for young Jewish girls whose families were killed or scattered during the war and who are alone, it was reported here today. The institution was established with a grant of 10,000,000 frances, and the Council will annually furnish 3,000,000 to 4,000,000 france for its maintenance.
The Paris home is the second to be established in Europe by the Council, the first having been set up in Athens last year. The Paris home can accommodate some 40 girls.
