The week-long session of the National Jewish Youth Conference, which is sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board, this week-end adopted a resolution dedicating its members to the building of a unified democratic and creative Jewish community.
The conference asked its affiliated organizations to “observe the basis of Jewish tradition” in all of their public undertakings and to develop programs that will guide and encourage the introduction and the practice of Jewish customs and traditions in the Jewish home. M. David Weiss of Munhall, Pennsylvania, an Air Force veteran, was elected chairman.
