Two hundred young Jewish men and woman representing Jewish youth and young adult councils throughout the U.S., as well as delegates from most of the national Jewish youth organizations, will gather at Camp Wel-Met here tomorrow for a week-long National Jewish Youth Conference, sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board.
Jewish cultural and fund-raising responsibilities will highlight the agenda of the parley. Problems concerning American Jewish youth’s relationship to Jewish communities overseas, inter-group projects, Jewish education, leadership training, community responsibilities and national Jewish youth groups will also be reviewed.
Arnulf M. Pins, chairman of the Conference, will report on Jewish youth groups which he visited during a recent trip to France, England, Belgium and Holland as a representative of the World Federation of YMHA’s and Jewish Community Centers.
