A $2,000,000 quota for 1945 was adopted last night at the 21st convention of the National Labor Committee for Palestine, which provides American and Canadian support for the activities of the Histadruth, the Palestine Federation of Labor.
This past year the National Labor Committee for Palestine raised $1,250,000 as a contribution towards Histraduth activities. Its 1945 quota represents a record undertaking. The organization’s convention was attended by 3,000 delegates from approximately 1500 labor unions and Jewish community and fraternal organizations in the United States and Canada.
