Highlighting the fifth annual Yediat Israel Examination next week will be questions dealing with the life and career of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, first President of Israel, in honor of centennial year observances, and the very pressing and immediate problem of Israel-Arab relations, More than 8000 students in schools throughout the U.S. and Canada will participate in the examination, held annually during Israel Independence Week, under the joint sponsorship of the Department of Education and Culture of the American Section–World Zionist Organization and the Department of Youth and Education of the Jewish National Fund. The announcement was made on behalf of both organizations by Dr. Abraham P. Gannes, director of the WZO’s Education and Culture Department.
