Native Bavarian Jews here declared they are “anxious but unable to interfere” in behalf of the Jews who are not German citizens and who are being deported, in abcordance with Dictator von Kahr’s expulsion decree.
An official statement to this effect was issued by the Central Society of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, stating the Society had decided not to appeal against the deporting of East-European Jews, this being outside the scope of the Organization. Although they are anxious to do so, they are unable to interfere, it is declared. Where, however, the Jewish deportee is of German citizen ship, intervention has been made.
