Anti-Jewish riots organized by Nazis broke out today in Krolewska Huta and Tarnowskiegory, two large towns in Polish Upper Sliesia on the German border.
Nazi youths picketing the stores, owned by the Jewish firms of Lustig and Gutyan, tore down and destroyed all signs on the stores. Other Nazi pickets in front of Woolworth stores did likewise. Polish police arrested a number of Nazi rioters.
In Lwow, Endek students, members of the National Democrats, anti – Jewish anti – government party, threw stench bombs in many Jewish shops of that city.
At several villages near the town of Lomza, Poland, Jewish peddlers were forbidden to enter, and posters to that effect were displayed on roads leading to the villages.
