A fanatical Nazi sympathizer and anti-Semite, Ramon Garcia de Zuniga, 30, today confessed to bombing the Nazi headquarters here on March 9 in an attempt to arouse public opinion against Jews and Communists in Uruguay.

The bomb damaged the building which housed the German Chamber of commerce as well as the Nazi offices. Garcia knew the building well, having attended several Nazi meetings there.

Garcia, an Argentine, belonged to the “Revisionismo” Association, whose aim is to combat Jews and Communists. He had offered on several occasions to perform acts of terrorism or provocation. He admitted having manufactured the bomb he set at the entrance to the German building.

Garcia is an ardent admirer of Chancellor Adolf Hitler and Premier Benito Mussolini. During a recent carnival he masqueraded as a Jew leading a chained cowboy.
