The Jewish population is experiencing some alarm as a result of the growth of the anti-Semitic agitation in the Nazi press in the last several days.
Anxiety has been aroused in particular because the present policy is in contrast with previous practice. Formerly when important political negotiations were under way, in which the Nazis had a part, it was the custom to subdue the agitation against the Jews. This practice has now been reversed.
Yesterday’s “Angriff”, organ of the Berlin Nazi Party, threatens the Jews of Grenadierstrasse with annihilation.
