There has been no cessation of the Nazi campaign of torture against Jews and others, according to the Manchester Guardian which, in special reports just published, asserts that unofficial vengeance is still being wreaked by Storm troopers in the “Brown Houses”. The Guardian goes on to assert that the only reason that the general press has been given the impression that the anti-Jewish campaign is on the decline, is due merely to German efficiency in silencing and intimidating individuals who might have first-hand knowledge of tortures inflicted by the Nazis. The Guardian adds that the promises of concessions to German-Jewish lawyers were made only to hoodwink liberal opinion in England and in the United States. The actual fact of the matter is that the exclusion of Jewish lawyers has been completed and that the exclusion of Jewish doctors, university officials and others, even veterinarians, is continuing in full force.

The Guardian prints a lengthy official list of the latest dismissals.
