As a result of the recent visit of Polish journalists to Berlin, upon the direct invitation of the Nazi government, two baptized Jews will fight a duel.

The invitation of the Nazi government was boycotted by Jewish newspapermen and even by a number of baptized Jews who occupy important posts on non-Jewish papers.

Antoni Slonimski, a baptized Jewish journalist, who is descended from a distinguished family of Polish Jewish scholars, scornfully refused the Nazi invitation and sharply attacked another baptized Jewish writer for praising the Nazi regime.
