The German authorities in Poland have appointed a special commissar to supervise the Warsaw ghetto, where some 400,000 Jews have been segregated, Polish circles here reported today.
The presidency of the ghetto’s Jewish Council, which handles problems of relations between the ghetto and the outside world, and the Migration Office now act under the commissar’s supervision.
