Nazi Cruiser to Get Reception in Baltimore Despite Protests

Despite protests of a number of organizations, Mayor Jackson will extend an official welcome to the German cruiser, Emden, through an exchange of courtesy calls when the vessel reaches here Tuesday, it was disclosed today.

A group of objectors, led by Rabbi Edward L. Israel, plans to stage a demonstration at the dock on Wednesday. German-American societies of Baltimore have completed an elaborate program of entertainment for the officers and crew during their ten-day stay here.
