A Nazi plan to spy on German refugees was believed uncovered today when a person seeking information about expatriates at Palestine offices in Polish cities under the guise of representing the Berlin Palestine office was discovered to have no connection with the Berlin office.
The person, who gave his name as Boris Urbach, called at Palestine offices in Lodz, Lwow and other cities, declaring that the Palestine office in Berlin was seeking information about German refugees who wished to emigrate to Palestine.
“Urbach” disappeared after inquiry at the Berlin office disclosed that no person of that name was connected with it.
