The Nazi massacres of Jews in Europe will be execrated throughout the ages, the delegates to the 42nd annual convention of the British Labor Party were told today in the opening address delivered by A.J. Dobbs, chairman.
Devoting a substantial part of his address to the tragedy of the Jews in Nazi-occupied territories, Mr. Dobbs emphasized that “victory, unless it comes quickly, may be but a Dead Sea fruit for the Jews of Europe.”
“Language fails me,” he said, “when I recall the foul assault on the helpless Jewish people beyond the reach of our immediate assistance-men, women, children, even babes in arms, killed all day long at the orders of the German Government under circumstances of the most systematic and scientific brutality.”
