The systematic extermination of Europe’s Jews through mass-executions was decried here today at an impressive international protest meeting called by the British Labor Party and attended by representatives of most of the United Nations.
Among those addressing the meeting were Alfred Dobbs, Labor Party leader, who acted as chairman, Herbert Morrison, Minister for Home Security, Andre Philip, Commissioner for Labor and Interior of the Fighting French; and prominent spokesman of the Allied governments and of the European Socialist parties.
Several of the speakers stressed the fact that the Nazis have chosen Poland as an execution place for the Jews of the occupied countries and Germany and appealed to mankind to halt “the greatest crime in history.”
