The Boersenzeitung, organ of German high finance and the stock market, has appeared with an article sharply attacking Ernst Lissauer, the Jewish poet who wrote the war song of hatred of England. The paper insists that his art was specifically Jewish, and without regard to the fact that Lissauer was an assimilationist and wanted to have nothing to do with Jews, the paper generalizes on the basis of his case and deduces that such is the art of all Jews.
