A meeting called by Dr. Max Naumann, leader of the so-called “Nazi Jews,” a minority group, who are advocating complete loyalty to the Nazi program, was converted here last night into a near-riot, when many Jews present at the meeting protested against the message of congratulations which Dr. Naumann sent to Hitler on the day of the Chancellor’s birthday.
Dr. Naumann was heckled when he appeared on the platform. Voices from the audience called him “anti-Semite” and urged him to refrain from misrepresenting Jewish sentiment.
Replying to his attackers, Dr. Naumann branded them as Zionists and emphasized that even if the situation for the Jews in Germany grows worse, he and his followers will still remain loyal to the Nazis and their program.
