Nazi Killer of Jews Sentenced to Seven Times Life Imprisonment

Wilhelm Unkelbach, convicted of the murder of seven Jews in the Czenstochova Ghetto, was under sentence today of seven times life imprisonment. Sentence was passed yesterday after he was found guilty of killing seven of the 30 Jewish victims in whose murders he was indicted.

Dr. A. Goetz, the court chairman, praised the “calm and dignity” of the Jewish witnesses who came from Israel, the United States, Canada and Poland to testify in the eight-day trial.
