The United Press said in a Berlin dispatch today that Nazi Grain Commissioner Daszler had announced that “Jews in London” aided Germany in building up a huge grain reserve for the Reich.
Daszler, claiming Germany had 8,600,000 tons of wheat, barley, oats, rye and corn stored, was quoted as stating: “We gathered these reserves by the purchase of 10,000,000 tons of grain in the world market with the aid of Jews in London.”
Dispatches from Moscow reported that two Jews were among the Soviet officials who attended the state banquet last night for Nazi Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop and other Nazi leaders. They were Lazar M. Kaganovich, Commissar of Heavy Industry and Fuel, who is a brother-in-law of Josef Stalin, and S.A. Lozovsky, Vice-Commissar of Foreign Affairs.
