The sweeping expulsion of all Jewish lawyers from existing bar associations, regardless of whether they are war veterans or descendants of war veterans, was ordered by Minister of Justice Hans Frank yesterday.
The decree also demanded that the bar organizations throughout the country surrender their independence and become units in the National Socialist Juristenbund. It is argued that since Jews are not admitted into the Juristenbund, whose enrollment consists of “pure German blood”, they must sever their connections with whatever organizations to which they belong. ### rael which is one of his principal means of support.
