Guenther Daiquen, publisher of the S. S. newspaper Schwarze Korps, was sentenced to pay a fine of 28.000 deutschemarks following his conviction on charges of having helped spread anti-Semitism and been responsible for the persecution of Jews during the Nazi regime.
Testimony in a Berlin court underlined the fact that between 1935 and 1945 not a single edition of Schwarze Korps appeared without some story spreading false accusations and racial hatred against the Jews. On occasion, it was noted, the S. S. newspaper outdid Julius Streicher’s more notorious Der Steurmer.
