Reich Minister of Justice Hans Frank declared today at a meeting of the Weimar Nazis that the Hitler regime will not tolerates attacks such as the one made by Cardinal Faulhaber of Munich on the racial laws.

Cardinal Faulhaber termed the Nazi racial legislation “a delusion.” Frank declared that the Catholic prelate was “attacking the fundamental legislation of the Nazi state.”

Cardinal Faulhaber has been one of the most outspoken critics of the Nazi regime. He has openly ridiculed the Nazi race theories in his sermons and stoutly upheld the Bible, which has been under attack by Nazi zealots, When his book of sermons was published recently the Nazis boycotted the book and coerced book sellers into returning their copies to the publishers. Recently shots were fired through the windows of the Cardinal’s residence in Munich, in what was said to be an attempt at assassination.
