Speaking before students representing codeges and universities from the entire easterm sector of the United States at the tenth annual Weslyan University parley on race relations, Dr. F. E. Auhagen of the German consulate in New York, representing the Nazi side, declared tonight that Germany is simply doing what Russia and Italy did upon coming to power. He defended his governments program on the ground that the excesses ???so widely exaggerated??? were simply a manitestation of the unemployed professional man.
Dr. Auhagen described himself as ???no Jew baiter.??? ???Many Christian students felf that the legal and medical professions were closed to them because of excessive Jewish control. Of course, I???m not blaming the Jews if they did abuse their power,??? said the Nazi emissary. ???And now the National Socialists have taken control of the government simply as a party program, thus merely reflecting the voice of the people.???
WILL EASE UP ON JEWS
