Dr. Adalbert Rueckerl, head of the Central Office for Investigation of Nazi War Crimes in Ludwigsburg, has stated that more than 15,000 people suspected of involvement in Nazi atrocities have never been prosecuted and are still living freely in West Germany, according to reports reaching here from Hamburg, Dr. Rueckerl stated that at the present time, 600 cases are being investigated, but very few seem likely to be brought to court.
