Dr. Hermann Pook, a dentist who, under the Nazi regime, initiated the S.S. project of utilizing gold teeth taken from murdered Jews and other concentration camp victims, is now practicing dentistry openly in West Berlin and is on a dentists’ panel of the government-conducted Health Insurance Services, the Frankfurter Rundschau revealed today.
In 1947, Pook was sentenced to 10 years’ Imprisonment by an American military court, but he was released four years later for “good behavior.” Later, a denazification court cleared him as “not having been connected with National Socialism.”
