Double taxes for water and electricity were imposed on the Jewish residents of the townships of Hildsheim and Lipstadt, while in a number of other cities, a special tax for Jewish shopkeepers was introduced. They are compelled to pay taxes for their shop windows.

All Berlin peddlers were ordered today by the authorities to submit declarations as to whether or not they are Aryans.

In some of the cities of Eastern Germany, fat cards are no longer being issued to Jews. These cards are usually issued to unemployed and other poor people to enable them to obtain butter and margarine at greatly reduced prices for their children.
