Jews interned in concentration camps as political prisoners are not to be freed under the same regulations as non-Jewish political prisoners, telegraphic reports from Munich reveal. According to these reports, an official statement issued by the chief Nazi authority in the Bavarian Palatinate orders that Jewish prisoners are, on no account, to be set free unless two hostages surrender themselves in place of the candidate for liberation.
