Der Voelkischer Beobachter, leading Nazi paper, which is edited by Dr. Alfred Rosenberg, foreign chief of the Nazi party, today denied in a leading article that discriminations were made against German Jews in trade.

“All objective foreign visitors have been convinced that young Germany desires nothing more than peace and work,” the Nazi paper declared. “Jews are not prevented from carrying on trading and other occupations within the frame work of the laws. The only ones that will profit from new atrocity lies will be the exponents of international Jewry. Even American opinion will realize those facts,” the Beobachter said.

The moves made in the last few days by leading Nazi officials and leading party organs to call a halt on the boycott movement against the Jews, which is headed by Julius Streicher, notorious anti-Semitic editor of Der Stuermer, is taken as an indication that the faction of the cabinet which has fought against restrictive measures against the Jews has once more won. Even Hitler warned a meeting of leading Nazis that he will not tolerate excesses against the Jews directed by local Nazi leaders. Minister of Economics Dr. Kurt Schmitt has been the leader of the Nazi cabinet group opposed to laws against the Jews in trade.

Whether it’s local, domestic or foreign, if it’s news about Jewish life you’ll find is in the Jewish Dally Bulletin.
