The German-controlled Paris radio today criticized the Vichy Ministry of Agriculture for allegedly retaining Jewish officials contrary to the Vichy anti-Jewish statute. The broadcaster complained that the ministry had returned to Paris “full of Jews” whose presence was explained by the fact that many Jews discharged as technical advisers under the Vichy anti-Jewish law had been immediately reengaged for the medical staff.
