Recent orders by the Minister of Economics banning interference with non-Aryan business were ignored today in Upper Silesia when the internationally known linen firm of the Bielschowsky family received instructions from an Aryan commissary that it is to convert ownership to Aryan hands. The firm which was established and is owned by Jews, has branches in Breslau, Beuthen and Gliewitz.
Bielschowsky, together with all members of his family, was removed by the new Aryan management. The firm has a staff of employees numbering 700 including a large number of Jews.
The famous sixty-year old Jewish publishing house of Schatsky in Breslau also passed into Aryan hands, it is reported today.
