German authorities at Prague have ordered Jews to shop in the capital at fix hours and have forbidden them to place orders by telephone, the newspaper. Neuer Tag, published in the Protectorate capital, disclosed today.
Shops are not permitted to serve patrons known to be Jews during other hours but are not called upon to ask a customer if he is a Jew. Owners of cafes and inns must inform authorities before this Friday whether their establishments are Jewish or “Aryan.” A mixed clientele in a restaurant is forbidden, even where separate rooms are provided.
