FIVE JEWS IN BAMBERG, UPPER FRANCONIA, FACED TRIAL TODAY FOR THE ALLEGED ” RITUAL MURDER” OF A GERMAN CHILD WHOSE CASE WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE FILES BY THE NAZI AUTHORITIES AFTER EIGHT YEARS.
RUMORS THAT THE CHILD HAD BEEN KILLED FOR RITUAL PURPOSES WERE INVESTIGATED BY THE AUTHORITIES AT THE TIME OF THE DEATH IN 1929 AND FOUND BASELESS. RECENTLY, THE FILES IN THE CASE WERE HANDED OVER TO THE NAZI PARTY, RESULTING IN THE ARREST OF EIGHT JEWS. THREE OF THE EIGHT WERE RELEASED AND FIVE ARE BEING HELD.
