It was reported here from Vienna today that the Jewish Community in Mistelbach, Lower Austria, has been dissolved following emigration of most of the town’s Jews.

In token of the liquidation, the community’s last president turned over the synagogue to the municipality for transformation into the Nazi Welfare Board’s headquarters.

Jewish week-end guests at Baden Spa, resort near Vienna, were reported to have been driven out of hotels and nursing homes by Nazi storm troopers. Seasonal Jewish guests, it was stated, are still admitted to Baden. The neighboring resort of Voeslau, formerly overwhelmingly patronized by Jews, is now virtually deserted. Several non-Jews at both resorts were arrested in the last few days because they publicly complained that the Nazi drive was ruining their business.
