The racial descent of Germans living abroad, whatever their citizenship, will be recorded in an elaborate card-file to be instituted shortly by the German authorities, it was revealed today. An investigation into the antecedents of every person of German origin living in a foreign country has been in progress since 1935 and has just been completed, the Frankfurter Zeitung reported.
